Paul is a seasoned general counsel, with a profound experience with companies and entrepreneurship in ports, logistics and trade. Before Paul became general counsel, he was a lawyer in private practice. He has extensive legal knowledge, especially in the fields of corporate law, competition law and commercial contracts. Paul has vast in-house experience and advises on board room level, quick and to-the-point. He also acted as company secretary. As a lawyer, he is a true business partner. Paul furthermore has wide international experience, in particular with Asian companies but also with companies and organisations in Europe.

• Acquisition and sale of interests in container terminal companies
• Negotiations and formation of joint venture agreements with container liner companies
• Negotiations for concession agreements and long-lease agreements with port authorities
• A multi-billion Euro lawsuit and subsequent settlement
• Negotiations for commercial contracts
• Dawn raid by regulators
• Training of personnel on compliance
